Jonathan Stanford - Senior Fund Manager


Jonathan Stanford is an Investment Director in the non-directional equity team, and manages a global convertible bond fund.

He joined GAM Investments following its acquisition of the equity hedge specialist, Arkos Capital SA in 2012 (now GAM Investment Management (Switzerland) AG, Lugano Branch). Prior to joining Arkos in September 2007, he was an executive director at the investment banking division of UBS, responsible for convertible bond sales for institutional clients in Switzerland, Italy and southern Europe. Before that, he was a portfolio manager at Banca Commerciale Italiana (Suisse) in Lugano and Zurich, Switzerland. Jonathan Stanford holds a BA in International Management from Franklin University, Switzerland, and an MBA in International Management from Long Island University, New York. He is based in Lugano, Switzerland.
