Richard Briggs - Investment Manager


Richard Briggs is an investment manager responsible for emerging market hard currency debt strategies.

Prior to joining GAM in May 2020, Richard worked as a senior credit strategist at CreditSights for seven years where latterly he led EM sovereign credit research. Prior to CreditSights, Richard worked as an economist at Alliance Trust. Richard holds an MSc in Financial Economics from the University of Glasgow, a Bachelors in Economics from the University of Strathclyde and is a CFA charterholder. He is based in London.
