We will work with you to build a high-quality, dynamic investment portfolio, based on an active approach to asset allocation and access to some of the world's most talented fund managers.
We aim to deliver consistent, superior returns, clear communication and attentive client service. We don’t run a common investment fund; instead, we build bespoke, multi-asset portfolios using the traditional asset classes of equities, bonds and property.
Our focus for charities is on transparency, liquidity and value for money.
What makes us different?
Our culture is centred on transparency and clarity. We aim to give our talented investment teams and portfolio managers room to flourish and in turn, they reward us with their loyalty. We have a very low staff turnover; consistency in a fast-changing world means that our charity clients can be certain they’re always in safe hands.
As a charity client, you will have the support of two dedicated portfolio managers from the outset of the relationship. They will act as your first port of call in all your dealings with us, ensuring that you can contact one or the other at any time of year.
As experienced, highly skilled investors, we have a duty to protect client assets. Within our sphere of influence we promote responsible business practices, respectful of the environment and human rights.
GAM is a signatory of the UN-supported Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI). We have a responsible investment framework that recognises the diversity of our investment strategies while integrating environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) factors into our existing processes. We have also set out our broad philosophy and approach in our Group Responsible Investing Guidelines, available here. For clients with specific ESG needs, we can discuss how best to incorporate these into your investment objectives and resulting portfolio.
