Adrian Owens est le Chief Investment Officer de la stratégie Global Rates d'Investcorp-Tages.

En 2024, GAM a conclu un accord de partenariat avec Investcorp-Tages ("IVCT") en vertu duquel Adrian et l'équipe d'investissement de la stratégie Global Rates de GAM deviennent des employés d'IVCT, tout en continuant à gérer la stratégie pour GAM en tant que gestionnaire d'investissement délégué.

Adrian a rejoint GAM en mai 2009 en tant que directeur des investissements pour gérer le fonds Global Rates. Auparavant, Adrian a travaillé chez Julius Baer Investments Limited, au bureau de New York de 2001 à 2002, où il a supervisé les fonds américains à revenu fixe. À son retour à Londres, il a été coresponsable des investissements à revenu fixe de la société avant de lancer la stratégie Global Rates en janvier 2004. Auparavant, Adrian était économiste européen chez Yamaichi International (Europe). Au début de sa carrière, il a travaillé en tant qu'économiste pour le ministère britannique de l'emploi, puis pour le ministère des finances. Adrian est titulaire d'une maîtrise en économie de l'Université McGill, à Montréal. Il est basé à Londres.

Earlier this month, Federal Reserve (Fed) Governor Jerome Powell said that US interest rates may need to rise by more than is currently priced by the market. In contrast, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey was explicit in stating that official interest rates in the UK were unlikely to rise as much as the market was expecting – despite, in his words, perhaps the largest upside risks to inflation in the Monetary Policy Committee’s (MPC) history.

Anthony Smouha, CEO of Atlanticomnium S.A. and manager of GAM’s credit opportunities strategy; Niall Gallagher, manager of GAM’s European equity strategies; and Adrian Owens, manager of GAM’s global rates strategy, have been named FE Fund Info Alpha Managers for 2023.

The Alpha Manager Rating is a quantitative rating that distinguishes the top UK fund managers based on alpha generation and outperformance across their career history. Only the top 10% of UK managers receive this accolade.
