Drawing on live data feeds, hundreds of individual elements come together in this real-time synthesis of GAM's activity. It is formed of 1,500 individual elements that visualise data streamed from our trading operations and synthesises the millions of trades we undertake on behalf of our clients every day.
AN EVER-CHANGING COMPOSITION (2019)
Unique
Opus: (noun) an artistic work, especially one on a large scale. GAM Investments commissioned a piece of artwork to be the centre piece of the client reception area at our new London offices. The aim was to create a unique, timeless, evolving piece which was linked to our day to day investment activities.
Evolving
We believe Opus reflects several core elements of our investment ethos: to be dynamic and ever evolving; and represents the coming together of individual voices into a unique symphonic work.
Timeless
Dynamic Environments Group (DEG) worked with us to help bring this idea to life and the result was Opus. They were chosen due to their experience in the design of impactful installations in large spaces through the creative use of lighting and technology. Opus is a real-time, data-driven light installation.
