Adrian Owens es el Director de Inversiones de la estrategia Global Rates de Investcorp-Tages.

En 2024 GAM llegó a un acuerdo de colaboración con Investcorp-Tages ("IVCT") por el que Adrian y el equipo de inversión de la estrategia Global Rates de GAM pasan a ser empleados de IVCT pero continúan gestionando la estrategia para GAM como gestor delegado de inversiones.

Adrian se incorporó a GAM en mayo de 2009 como Director de Inversiones gestionando el fondo Global Rates. Anteriormente, Adrian trabajó en Julius Baer Investments Limited y estuvo destinado en su oficina de Nueva York desde 2001 hasta 2002, donde supervisó los fondos de renta fija de Estados Unidos. A su regreso a Londres, trabajó como codirector de las inversiones de renta fija de la empresa antes de lanzar la estrategia Global Rates en enero de 2004. Anteriormente, Adrian fue economista europeo en Yamaichi International (Europa). Pasó la primera parte de su carrera trabajando como economista para UK Department of Employment y luego para el HM Treasury. Adrian tiene un máster en Economía por la Universidad McGill de Montreal. Reside en Londres.

Earlier this month, Federal Reserve (Fed) Governor Jerome Powell said that US interest rates may need to rise by more than is currently priced by the market. In contrast, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey was explicit in stating that official interest rates in the UK were unlikely to rise as much as the market was expecting – despite, in his words, perhaps the largest upside risks to inflation in the Monetary Policy Committee’s (MPC) history.

Three managers named FE Fund Info Alpha Managers 2023

Anthony Smouha, CEO of Atlanticomnium S.A. and manager of GAM’s credit opportunities strategy; Niall Gallagher, manager of GAM’s European equity strategies; and Adrian Owens, manager of GAM’s global rates strategy, have been named FE Fund Info Alpha Managers for 2023.

The Alpha Manager Rating is a quantitative rating that distinguishes the top UK fund managers based on alpha generation and outperformance across their career history. Only the top 10% of UK managers receive this accolade.
