Thomas Funk - Investment Director


Thomas Funk, Investment Director, is a portfolio manager of Swiss Equities.

Prior to joining GAM Investments in February 2005, he managed the Swiss Small Stocks Fund of Bank Hofmann (a Credit Suisse subsidiary). He was also responsible for Swiss small and mid-cap research. Prior to the merger of Bank für Handel und Effekten (BHE, a Credit Suisse subsidiary) and Bank Hofmann in 2000, he worked as a portfolio manager at BHE. Thomas holds a master's degree in Business Administration and Economics from the University of Berne and he is a CFA charterholder. He is based in Zurich.
