Stephanie Maier, Global Chief Sustainability Officer, ist verantwortlich für die Leitung der nachhaltigen Anlage- und ESG-Strategie (Environmental, Social and Governance/ Umwelt, Sozial und Governance) von GAM.

Stephanie Maier kam im Januar 2021 zu GAM Investments von HSBC Global Asset Management, wo sie als Direktorin für Responsible Investment tätig war. Davor war sie sieben Jahre bei Aviva Investors tätig, zuletzt als Leiterin der Abteilung für nachhaltige Anlagestrategien und Forschung. Davor war sie Forschungsleiterin bei EIRIS, einem ESG-Forschungs- und Beratungsunternehmen. Stephanie Maier verfügt über einen MSc in Umwelttechnologie vom Imperial College London, einen BA in Biowissenschaften von der Universität Oxford und ist mit dem Investment Management Certificate (IMC) akkreditiert. Sie ist in London tätig.

The ESG Investing Awards evaluate the best companies, products, strategies and research on a global scale, winners are selected by a panel of judges consisting of financial market professionals, academics and independent experts.

GAM awarded “Green bond fund of the year” at the Environmental Finance Awards
April 2023

GAM’s Sustainable Climate Bond strategy was named Green bond fund of the year at the Environmental Finance Awards in its first full year in existence. The judges said it was an “interesting” and “thoughtful” strategy to use green bonds to channel green finance to a broader pool than just the large corporate green bond issuers.
